Jupetz

Judit was born in Budapest, Hungary in the 1970’s. She lived with her mother and her two brothers in the suburbs, in an era, where children were only to be seen rather than heard. She quickly learned that Image was very powerful.

At a very young age it was clear that she was drawn to the arts. She copied princess figures out of the local library’s picture books, sewed collections of dresses for her Barbie doll, and since age 6 she was scanning through “Nok Lapja” magazine hungry for images. In elementary school her favorite subject was Art, and 2 of her paintings were put on display in the school for their composition, simplicity, and message. At age 14 her family of 4 moved from the suburbs to the city centre. Judit tagged along for to open houses with her mother. She really enjoyed seeing how other people lived, and she had great pleasure in seeing the different shapes of the buildings and apartments.

In 2000, she purchased her first Canon SLR camera after her trip to St Tropez, France and became an avid photographer. With this newly found interest she attended her brother’s concerts photographing the events and people. One of her photos was published in Mai Nap, one of Budapest’s daily newspapers. In 2001 she moved to London, England where she continued to explore her interests in photography. The huge parks, bridges and ponds fascinated her. Her favorite Place was the Pergola and Botanical Garden near Hampstead Heath Park. Judit also enjoyed taking photos of houses and building interiors.

Judit moved to Canada in 2004 where she currently lives with her daughter. She purchased her first DSLR in 2006, a Nikon D80. The same year Judit went to School for a year at the Ryerson University studying photography. In 2008 she was one of the photographers of the Festival du monde Arabe in Montreal.

Today Judit is a photographer specializing photos of abstract, pets, nature and real estate. She is an active member of photography clubs, and submits her photos to stock photo agencies.
