Timothy Van Der Torren

My name is Timothy, and I’m a freelance filmmaker based in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands—a place I consider to be the most beautiful in the world. Filmmaking has always been a passion of mine, allowing me to capture stories and moments through a creative lens. When I’m not working on a film project, I also teach part-time in a nearby town, which gives me the chance to share my knowledge and inspire others.

Outside of work, I love to unwind by exploring new filming locations, experimenting with different shooting techniques, or simply enjoying quality time with friends over drinks. I also play the drums in a small band with some friends, and we enjoy playing alternative rock together. Whether I’m immersed in a creative project, jamming with my band, or enjoying a laid-back evening, I always aim to strike a balance between work and relaxation.
